| Bad Cowboy has become SCSNW's house band and for good reasons: 1. Backup vocalist and acoustical guitar player Rich Leibrant has been a huge supporter of SCS for many years. In the early years of SCSNW's annual golf tournaments Rich, a full time employee of Safeway Inc., talked a chip vendor into donating a basketball themed display which included an adjustable, portable basket and ball. They even threw in boxes of chips. 2. After looking into the charity division of Safeway, Rich directed us to Safeway's Charity of Choice Program where SCS has been the recipient of month long drives of spare change. This is where customers donate their change at cash registers in Safeway stores throughout the states of Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. Three times Safeway has chosen us, donating over $100,000 to support our cause. 3. Rich's wife, Lisa, a top sales person for Odwalla, connected her company and SCSNW together making Odwalla an invaluable supporter. 4. Bad Cowboy donated their Sunday afternoon in April of this year to put on a benefit show at EB Foote Winery in Burien. They rocked the building all afternoon then offered to use the band as an auction item for our upcoming Black-tie Bingo event this June. Are these guys cool or what? www.badcowboyz.com |
