2008 Golf Tournament &
Auction

Even in tough economic times our backers showed what is
important and helped us raise $71,000 at our annual golf
tournament/auction on June 13.

It was another sunny day at the beautiful Mill Creek country
club just north of Seattle.  We had another outstanding field of
golfers where play took less than 5 1/2 hours.  This gave
plenty of time for the players to relax, have a beverage and
place action on the items in the silent auction room.  Next
began the dinner and auction where former voice of Seattle
Supersonics, Kevin Calabro, 'took it to the house', leading
everyone through the evenings event.  By the time the dust
settled SCS had collected an outstanding amount in
donations for spinal cord injury research.

Thank you to our tremendous members and sponsors for
making this years 13th tournament/dinner/auction another
huge success.  We are already turning gears for next years
